Seed Library

All seeds are available at the Customer Service Desk.

Choose up to five packets of seeds to grow at home. In the fall, you can choose to label and return seeds to share in the Seed Library with fellow gardeners.

Available While Supplies Last: Basil, Parsley, Lettuce, Tomato, Eggplant, Cucumber, Peppers, Beets, Kale, Swiss Chard, Broccoli, Peas, Beans, Zucchini Squash, Butternut Squash, Sunflowers

 

Pollinator-friendly plants

Support Lindy’s local bee population by making your house a “stop” on our bee trail! Special Seed Library packets are available this year that containing seeds for pollinator-friendly plants. After planting them in your yard, let us know where your “stop” is located by emailing engage@lindenhurstlibrary.org. We will track the Lindy Bee Trail throughout the spring and summer and keep the community updated!


Don’t have a garden at home?

Volunteer to help with our Community Garden in the Backyard! We grow tomatoes, peppers, squash, eggplants. basil, mint and cucumbers!
