The library has several computers for adults, teens and children. Our computers run Windows 10 and include the 2016 Microsoft Office Suite. Library cardholders can use their library cards to login to the computers. Non-residents, or guests can ask for a temporary “Guest Pass” at the information services desk.
Outgoing Faxing is $1.00 per page. An email address is required to use this service. Cash only.
If you cannot find what you are looking for in our library, you may request that we get it for you from another library. To request an item from one of the public libraries in Suffolk County, find the item you are looking for in our Library Catalog by expanding your search to include “All Libraries”, and then use the “Request Item” button. If you cannot find the materials you are looking for, please contact us.
Library by Mail
District residents who cannot visit the Library due to a temporary or permanent condition can receive books, DVD’s, magazines, music CD’s and Books on CD, etc. through our mail delivery service. There is no charge for the service, nor do participants accrue overdue charges. Download the application or fill it out online here.
The library has a mobile printing service. Black & White prints are .10 cents per page. Color prints are .50 cents per page. Cash only.
Museum Pass Program
The library lends museum passes to Lindenhurst Library adult cardholders in good standing. To make a reservation or to learn more about the program, visit the Museum Pass Program page.
Music & Memory
The Music & Memory program works towards improving the quality of life for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. For more information visit the Music & Memory page.

Scanning & Shredder
Scanning is FREE at the library. Documents can be scanned to email or saved on to a your own USB drive. We also offer a FREE small shredder for personal use.
Social Work Interns
The Library is happy to partner with Stony Brook University to provide Social Worker Interns. Library patrons can request one-on-one assistance completing forms and applications, referrals to mental health resources, and other topics. For more information please visit the Social Work Intern page
