Book Donations

The Library currently accepts one box or bag of donations that are in excellent, "like new" condition. Donations need to be brought to the main Customer Service desk so staff can check them before accepting the donation. Please do not bring items that have lingered in attics or basements for years, as most of the time we are forced to throw them away because they cannot be sold in our bi-annual book sales. We do not have the storage space for large quantities of donations. Please see the other agencies/organizations listed on this page for additional assistance with book donations. 

The Library does NOT accept the following items: 

• VHS Tapes
• Vinyl records
• Encyclopedias, single copy or sets
• Textbooks
• Non-fiction books that are over ten years old
