Tonight's discussion is inspired by Robert Eggers' recent remake of "Nosferatu", loosely based on the novel "Dracula" by Bram Stoker, which we'll be watching in theaters on our own.  For comparison purposes, we'll also be viewing on our own the original 1922 German silent version directed by F.W. Murnau, over which Stoker's widow sued for similarities with her husband's work, as well as the 1979 German remake by Werner Herzog starring Klaus Kinski.  Both earlier versions are available on Kanopy, a free streaming service which is available on the Library's website.  Patrons may sign in with their Library card # to view. DVD copies of both films are also available at the Library or may be inter-loaned for our patrons from other Libraries.
