Event Details
The Vanishing Half is the story of identical twins Stella and Desiree. While Stella passes for white and builds a
life in a world filled with white privilege, Desiree’s path leads her to live a life significantly different
from her sister’s. Join us in discussing this year’s Long Island Reads Selection. The first ten registrants will receive a copy of the book to keep. Copies are also available for checkout and digitally on Cloud Library. Registration and book pickup begins March 1.
