Growing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors, about six weeks before the last frost, at a depth of ¼"

Plant outside just before the last frost, about 24” apart

Cauliflower prefers cooler temperatures, and a steady supply of water, and full sunlight

To prevent the white curds from yellowing, leaves can be tied around the cauliflower heads, however this practice is not required

Ready to harvest approximately 60-85 days from transplant

Seed Saving
-
Allow cauliflower head to mature, so it flowers and produces seed pods
-
Once pods have dried fully on the plant, remove plant from the ground
-
Hang cauliflower plant to dry for about two weeks
-
Remove dried pods from the plant and break open pods to collect seeds
-
Seeds should be stored in a cool, dry place and are viable for up to five years
