Frenal Mezilas was born in Haiti and studied at the Ecole Nationale des Arts and then continued his scholarship in Mexico. Mezilas teaches painting, drawing and pottery in New York. His work exists as realistic, surreal, abstract, or cubist and represents Haitian culture and history.
