Great progress is being made on exterior and interior demolition and the staging of our temporary quarters for September. Attached is an update by Park East Construction that was presented at a Library Board Meeting. Things are moving along!
• Interior demolition and abatement work of phase one
complete
• Windows on Wellwood removed for storage and repair
• Fire water service and RPZ unit installed
• Electric vehicle charging stations site work
• Side parking lot reconfigured and repaved
• Existing elevator removed
• RFID security tagging of materials ongoing by library
staff
We anticipate moving back into the building to our Express Library location sometime in September, where we will have a circulating collection of books and DVDs to borrow, as well as public computers, and a copier and fax machine available for use.
In-person hours will be:
Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday – CLOSED
