Demolition has begun! While the physical building is closed, you can return books and DVDs to any Suffolk County Public Library location, and they will be delivered back to us. Staff are working in the Annex Business Office (the brick house next door to the library parking lot) as well as offsite locations like the Moose Lodge, Rainbow Center, and outreach locations for in-person assistance. Most museum passes can be borrowed through our website and printed on demand. Looking to borrow a hotspot, the Empire Pass or the Long Island Children’s Museum Pass? You can place holds online, and pick or drop off those items to our Annex building – or we can arrange to pick them up from your mailbox at a pre-determined time.
Staff are answering the phones Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
