Plot: There was a girl named Katniss Everdeen. After her dad died her life wasn’t really the same. There is an annual hunger game where a boy and a girl from each of the 13 districts get chosen to fight to the death. Katniss’s sister ends up getting chosen but Katniss volunteers to take her place. Her life hasn’t been the same since.
Review: After reading The Hunger Games I believe that it is greatly written and teens will enjoy it from the very first chapters. I really enjoyed this book because of the action and survival skills the characters used. I would recommend this book to those that enjoy gore and thrillers. It is a book about survival and fighting to the death. I would also recommend this book to teens that like books that keep them on the edge of their seats and like surprises because this book is full of those moments.
